Resources to Help your Child’s Language Learning and Social Development

Early Communication

Communication is essential to our daily lives and it begins even before we learn to speak! Children communicate using sounds, gestures, and eye gaze before using words and sentences. We refer to the stages of development in a child’s communication as communication milestones. Knowing what to expect as your child develops is key to ensuring that your child is on track in regards to the development of his or hers speech and language.
